Key responsibilities :
In a world where accounting is undergoing a major transformation given the integration of the Solvency 2 reporting in daily life, the implementation of the upcoming new IFRS framework : 9 and 17, you report directly to the Benelux head of Accounting and treasury and lead the successful implementation and then usage/understanding of the figures developed under those new standards.
This role is based in Brussels, scope is Benelux.
As main tasks you will manage the implementation of the IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 and will lead the preparation and analysis of the Solvency II reporting, followed by the IFRS 9 and 17 during the implementation phase.
The role implies that you follow up the latest development of the IFRS and Solvency II standards, ensure an homogeneous and correct application of the standards and will prepare and run trainings the appropriate trainings for the teams.
This role is very transversal per nature within accounting and with the other finance departments (actuarial, risk, controlling and tax) of the Group centers.

Key requirements :
Successful experience in process/project management (at least 2 years), ideally combined with accounting knowledge in particular of the IFRS standards and Solvency 2 framework.
Solution orientated mind-set, process management, structural thinking and implementation skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English and in French and/or Dutch
