Regional Product Manager (m/f), Henkel Electronic Materials


The Regional Product Manager (RPM) is responsible for product line management of the products manufactured in the European facilities, including profit performance. The RPMs take strategic and functional direction from the Steering Units organization. The role involves working closely with Product Development and Operations regarding new product introduction and scale up, Global Product and Business Management on longer term projects and with Sales insuring customers receive products which meet expectations.


What we offer

  • Responsibility for coordinating core projects with focus on raw material portfolio analysis
  • Implementing global policies and procedures with direction from Global Product Managers to improve profitability

  • Working with R&D to review and approve requests for development projects, samples and technical support

  • Responsibility for organizing necessary management activities such as internal reporting, strategic planning/reviews and routine pricing updates

  • Responsibility for maintaining or improving pricing systems, volume and sales forecasting, sampling policies and product stewardship policies to insure profitable growth for the product line

  • Coordinating the Product Commercialization Process

  • Working with Global Product Managers to reduce complexity in the current product portfolio


Who we are looking for

  • Master degree, preferably in a chemistry/electrical engineering discipline as a minimum requirement
  • Preferably a first experience in a Supply Chain role / Marketing / Sales role or in a Operations

  • SAP knowledge would be an asset

  • Project management experience

  • Leadership and multicultural skills highly desirable

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate customer/market activities between several disciplines in a global high tech market

  • Very good English language skills with additional European language knowledge (German, French, Dutch)
